Antique Silver Indian Amulet Box Pendant
Amulet boxes hold verses and prayers of the owner which are meant to protect the wearer. This is a wonderful antique Indian amulet, or keepsake box from Rajasthan, India. One side has beautiful granulation and is adorned with two red and one green glass beads, the obverse is equally beautiful with decorative foliate designs - two beautiful ways to wear this treasure! The protective amulet box, sealed shut by the original owner, is in good condition with only minor age impressions, typical of antique amulet boxes. It is hung on an adjustable leather cord - absolutely gorgeous!
