Antique Silver Indian Amulet Box Pendant
Amulet boxes hold verses and prayers of the owner which are meant to protect the wearer. This is a wonderful antique Indian amulet, or keepsake box from Rajasthan, India. The box has been adorned with two red and one dark green glass beads, small silver seed beads, and the image of Hanuman. In Hindu beliefs, Hanuman embodies wisdom, bhakti (devotion and faith) valour and strength. The large protective amulet box is hung on a leather cord - absolutely gorgeous!
