Rare Old Burmese Ivory Earplugs
Ivory ear ornaments were used extensively in Burma by both men and women, although they are rarely seen anymore. This a beautiful and rare matched pair that have an incredible patina to them showing the beautiful striations of the natural ivory. The earplugs are from the Burmese hilltribe group known as the Karen, or Pwo.
Measurements: approx. 17mm in diameter, 15mm in depth
