Antique Laotian Buddhist Temple Offering Plate This is a beautiful antique metal plate from a Buddhist Temple in Laos. The metal appears to be bronze or brass with detailed chasing, or repousse decorative elements in the center and on the rim. The plate with the traditional tripod design, was at one time used for temple offerings. The condition is very good, with only a beautiful age patina from time (the plate could be cleaned and polished if the new owner wished). This is a wonderful example of Buddhist devotional art.
