19th c. Burmese Terracotta and Gold Leaf Arakan Divinities

This is a rare pair of beautiful Burmese Divinities from the Arakan Region of Burma, showing the strong artistic influence from India. These fine Buddhist Divinities are shown in the kneeling position presenting an offering to Buddha. Terracotta Arakan figures are rare, and this pair, showing fine remnants of gold leaf are in wonderful condition.
