Large Antique Spanish Colonial Silver Santo Crown

This is a beautiful 19th c. silver crown for an Angel Santo or Madonna, from South America. The silver has been beautifully embellished using deep repousse with typical Spanish Colonial designs. There is some loss to a few of the points, otherwise the crown is in wonderful condition. This crown is classic in its style and is a reminder of the exquisite silverwork of Colonial South America - a wonderful treasure!

Measurement: 11 1/2" wide point to point; depth of the repoussé part is approx. 3 1/2"
