Antique Colonial Painting of San Jose and the Christ Niño

This beautiful 19th c. unframed painting depicts San Jose with a blossoming white lily, his symbol of purity, and the Christ Child as El Salvador Mundi with two fingers pointing to God. The images are wonderful with charming expressions. There is minor loss in some areas (below the Niño's hand - detail below), otherwise the painting needs to be stretched or framed as a fragment - a wonderful devotional treasure!
