19th c. Spanish Colonial Silver Chapel Incensario, Sahumador This is a beautiful antique silver sahumador, or incense burner from a private collection in Potosí, Bolivia. The 19th c. incensario, in the shape of a turkey, has been formed from high content silver with beautiful detailing throughout. There are similar examples in Spanish Colonial Silver by Leona Davis Boyland and in Platería Sudamericana by Alfredo Taullard, as a reference.
