The Hilltribe group known as the Mien, or Yao, from Laos and Thailand are known for their beautiful embroidery on hand woven black or indigo cotton cloth. This is a beautiful carrying cloth used by the women made from very deep indigo cotton with beautiful intricate cross-stitched embroidery. The cloth, approximately 30-40 years old, has a small indigenous mend to the edge and only shows typical wear from a vintage textile. #21670 SOLD
