Antique Spanish Colonial Silver Ex Voto Pendant
This is a wonderful antique colonial silver ex voto pendant or milagro from Bolivia. The pendant has been formed from high content sterling silver with the image of the sacred heart, or Sagrado Corazón, surrounded by traditional colonial scrollwork and an angel at the bottom. The star on the heart is attached with a wire and moves (there appears to be a bit of darker metal on one of the points - it may be an old repair). The pendant is ready to be hung on a cord, chain, or ribbon. This is truly a unique treasure for the collector of cultural jewelry!
