Antique Spanish Colonial Silver Cup

This is a wonderful Spanish colonial silver cup, or mug, from Potosí, Bolivia dating to the 19th century. The cup is hand made from silver and chased with beautiful traditional Spanish colonial foliate designs. The handle of the goblet is a wonderful stylized organ grinder monkey, a popular motif in the 19th c. The cup is in good condition with minimal age impressions, a beautiful patina, and the original owner's initials engraved in the bottom. This is a wonderful and rare treasure of Spanish Colonial art!
